Eastern started out as a small hardware store in Danvers, MA. The Eastern name was born out of the Clement family’s decision to sell bottled gas for customers to use as an alternate power source for home and outdoor appliances. Now we are one of New England’s Preferred Energy Providers, and we have twelve district offices throughout New England. The Clement family has always valued the importance of supporting the communities where we live and work. Although we have grown with time, this commitment holds true.

In addition to supporting non-profits and fundraising events throughout the year, Eastern has a longtime commitment to supporting Hometown Heroes. Eastern’s Hometown Hero program provides Active Duty Military, Veterans, and First Responders a discount on fuel and service. This program has continued to grow steadily over the last five years, and through events supporting local military and first responders, we anticipate continued growth. Beyond the events that Eastern supports, we have also been recognized as a NH Veteran Friendly Business. We are proud to share that about 10% of our workforce served this great nation.
