The Elliot Health System Enchanted Forest Gala

Held at The DoubleTree in Manchester

(L. to R.) Dan Monfried, Chair Elliot Health System Board of Trustees, Jim Hood, Dr. Greg Baxter

In late September, residents of Southern New Hampshire and beyond gathered for the 20th annual Elliot Health System Gala. After a two-year hiatus, attendees were thrilled to gather in person for an evening of celebration and philanthropy. The goal of this year's event was to raise funds for the addition of a hybrid operating room at The Elliot and the night raised over $250,000. There were many highlights of this evening, such as hearing an inspiring patient story from Dr. Curtis Quinn, thoracic surgeon at The Elliot, which highlighted advances in thoracic surgery and the positive impacts for life-saving surgeries this new hybrid operating suite will bring to our community. We also announced the recipient of this year's William S. Green Award, which recognizes the special efforts and lasting impact of someone within Elliot Health System. All got to congratulate Jim Hood, former chair of The Elliot Health System Board of Trustees and dedicated volunteer, as he received this year's honor.
