Del Ray Pizzeria & Draft House
A Neighborhood Gem Sparking New Traditions

For more than a decade, Del Ray Pizzeria & Draft House (DRP) has been more than just a place to grab a slice—it’s been a staple of the community and a source of endless good times. Since opening its doors in 2010, DRP has welcomed guests with its signature blend of comfort, character, and creativity.
“We like to say we serve ‘Great food. Good Beer. Weird People,’” says owner Laurel Fisher with a grin. “It started as a joke, but over the years, it’s really become our vibe. Everyone is welcome here, and we lean into the quirky.”
A Menu That Moves With the Times
While DRP is known for its legendary specialty pizzas, the menu goes far beyond classic pies. Burgers, salads, wings, and shareable snacks round out a lineup that keeps regulars coming back—and keeps newcomers pleasantly surprised.
“We constantly play with new ideas in the kitchen while keeping our customer favorites front and center,” Laurel shares. “And the beer list? We’re always rotating 28 taps to make sure there’s something exciting to try.”
Craft cocktails are also part of the mix, providing options for every palate—whether you’re a beer lover, a cocktail enthusiast, or just along for the vibes.

Events That Spark Joy (and a Little Competition)
Community is at the heart of everything DRP does. Regular events keep the calendar packed—and the crowds engaged.
“Monday trivia is a staple now. It gets competitive in the best way, and it’s just a great start to the week,” says Laurel. Pour House Trivia kicks things off every Monday from 7–9 PM.
On the third Thursday of each month, DRP goes a little bigger with a Brewery Spotlight Night, showcasing three exclusive brews, complete with giveaways and a BYO cigar patio session.
“People love the relaxed vibe—we try to make it feel like a neighborhood block party,” Laurel adds.
For something with a little extra flair, DRP spices things up with a monthly themed trivia night on Sundays, perfect for superfans of niche pop culture.
And if you’re in the mood for glitter and glam, DRP’s monthly Drag Show delivers. Whether it’s a Saturday brunch full of sparkle or a raucous Sunday night bingo, these events bring the house down every time.
Big Events on the Horizon
This fall, DRP is upping the ante with two major outdoor events in the back lot. On September 6, 2025, it’s the return of the Hatch Green Chile Roast and the always-fiery Wings of Doom Hot Wing Eating Competition.
Then, just two weeks later on September 20, 2025, DRP will debut the first-ever Del Ray Beer Festival, featuring local breweries and all the hops your heart desires.
And don’t forget the Bands & Brews bar crawl this August, one of Del Ray’s most beloved summer traditions. “It’s the kind of event that really showcases the energy of the Avenue. We love being part of it,” Laurel says.
Upstairs at Flipside: A Hidden Speakeasy Scene
Above the bustling dining room, DRP’s upstairs bar Flipside Speakeasy offers a more intimate experience. Thursdays are for board game lovers, while Fridays bring out the karaoke kings and queens. Saturdays are all about live music and laid-back vibes.
“Flipside is our little secret space,” Laurel says. “It gives people another way to hang out with us, whether they’re into trivia, tunes, or just a quiet night out.”
Always Something New
With new events popping up all the time—from themed nights to creative pop-ups—Laurel encourages fans to follow DRP on social media and check Eventbrite for the latest lineup.
“We love trying new things and bringing people together,” she says. “That’s what Del Ray is all about.”
