Hundreds of Families in Need of FREE Toys!
Toys4ALX serves families who need assistance for the holidays. Every year, hundreds of families register with the City of Alexandria’s Holiday Sharing program in the hope of receiving a sponsor to provide items requested. 50% of families find a sponsor, the other half can take advantage of toys4ALX, Volunteer Alexandria's community-wide toy donation drive sponsored by Alexandria & Company.
Since 2014, VolALX has implemented this toy drive to support Alexandria’s children through the Fund for Alexandria’s Children’s Holiday Sharing program, other agencies in need, and low-income working families not registered with an agency.
Most likely, toys4ALX will serve over 700 children, age 0 - 10-year, meaning we need to collect 3,500 NEW UNWRAPPED toys so each child can open five gifts.
The drive starts on Nov. 17 and ends on Dec. 10, and we need your help to make this happen.
Please donate one or more toys for toys4ALX. We encourage people to shop local and a wish list can be found at volunteeralexandria.org/toydrive or by scanning the QR code.
