The October issue of Greet Del Ray celebrates one of the community’s most beloved traditions: the 30th anniversary of Art on the Avenue. Each year, this premier event brings thousands of visitors to Mount Vernon Avenue to experience art, food, music and culture in the heart of Del Ray. This milestone anniversary highlights not only the creativity of participating artists but also the dedication of the volunteers and neighbors who make it possible.
The magazine also continues its popular series following Maynard Birchfield on his trek along the Appalachian Trail. In this installment, Birchfield crosses New Jersey and New York, a section fondly known among hikers as the “Deli Trail” for its abundance of convenient roadside stops. His journey provides both inspiration and a sense of adventure for readers.
