Meet Your Publisher

Melanie Northup

Hi, I’m Melanie Stumler Northup, Publisher of Greet Floyds Knobs. I graduated from Floyd Central in 1996 and have spent most of my life here in the Knobs. My husband, David, and I now live near Highlander Point and are raising our six children here, with three currently attending Floyd County schools.

I love this community and the relationships that make it such a special place to live. Greet Floyds Knobs began in January 2026. My goal is to celebrate the families, businesses, and stories that make our area unique while helping create meaningful connections between local businesses and the neighbors they serve.

Whether we’re highlighting a family, a business, or a community event, I want this publication to reflect the heart of Floyds Knobs and the people who make it feel like home. The magazine is very professionally presented and very highly thought of in the community. This is why we continue to advertise in it month after month.
