The Cormier-Leger family has been proud residents of Franklin, Massachusetts, since 2017, bringing a vibrant blend of creativity, community spirit, and family traditions to the neighborhood. Ted and Artie, along with their children—Jayden and Charlie—have made their home in Franklin a hub of activity, love, and connection. Ted, originally from Medford, and Artie, a Newton native, began their family journey in Stoughton before moving to Dedham, ultimately choosing Franklin as their long-term home. Franklin’s walkable streets, friendly atmosphere, and active neighborhood association make it the perfect fit for this dynamic family.
A Family That Grows Together
Jayden and Charlie bring youthful energy to the household. Both are actively involved in sports and extracurriculars, including football, baseball, basketball, and band. Their activities keep the family on the go and connected to the Franklin community.
The newest member of the Cormier-Leger family, Scotty, an 11-month-old puppy, adds to the joy and chaos of daily life. Scotty’s boundless energy fits right in with the boys’ sports schedules and neighborhood walks.

Ted’s creativity shines as a visual artist and Realtor with Suburban Lifestyle Real Estate based in Franklin, complemented by his two decades of experience in the nonprofit sector. His work often blends a passion for people and artistic expression. Artie brings his expertise to human resources at Mass General Brigham, contributing to one of Massachusetts’ leading healthcare organizations.
Ted and Artie’s diverse professional experiences enrich their community involvement. Ted, is the current Town Councilor in Franklin and served on the Franklin Cultural Council. Artie plays an equally active role as the game-day announcer for Franklin Youth Football & Cheer, ensuring that every event feels special.
Cherished Traditions
Family traditions are central to the Cormier-Leger household. Fridays are reserved for family nights out, where they explore Franklin’s local dining scene, including favorites like Ichigo Ichi, Acapulco’s, and The Rome. Ted’s homemade Italian dishes and Artie’s signature turkey dinners are a hit during their cherished family meals. Each summer, the family heads to Provincetown’s Family Week, an annual gathering for LGBTQ+ families. Their Halloween outdoor decorating contests and big family Christmas dinners are also highlights of the year.
Relaxation and Adventure
The Cormier-Legers share a love of art, culture, and travel. Whether attending live theater, touring museums, or cheering on Boston’s sports teams, they make the most of their time together. Their travels have taken them to Europe’s top destinations, creating memories that deepen their family bond.
