Clayton "Bill" Kauffman, a quiet soul born in 1925, and Brenda (Steigenhofer), a vibrant spirit from Steelton, first met on a blind date arranged by fate and family. Bill grew up in the town, graduating from Hershey High and Hershey Junior College and then made his way to the University of Delaware, his life marked by tennis matches and engineering dreams. In 2025, Bill and Brenda moved to Harmony at Hershey on Canal Street, where they found new joys—happy hours filled with music, lively physical therapy classes, and delicious meals shared with friends. Family visits fill their home with laughter, and every moment is a celebration of the love that has defined their lives. Their apartment, with its view of the Hershey smokestacks, keeps them forever connected to the town where their story began.
