Jennifer began her career with State Farm in 2000 as a Life Insurance Specialist in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. In 2003, she was selected to take over a Lake Highlands agency—a decision that would shape both her professional path and her deep roots in the community. Over the years, she has built more than a successful business; she has built long-lasting relationships founded on trust, care, and consistency.

The agency is supported by five team members, including three experienced account managers who bring unmatched knowledge and continuity to client relationships. Suzanne Berger has worked with Jennifer for 21 years, Christina Hargrove for 13 years, and Rhonda Pedroza for more than three years. Each customer is paired with a dedicated account manager, ensuring they speak with the same trusted person every time they call. The team also includes administrative assistant D’Lynn Irby and marketing manager Elissa Genova. Her involvement includes membership in the Lake Highlands Women’s League and past involvement with the Lake Highlands Junior Women’s League. She has served as Lake Highlands Elementary PTA President and as Teacher Appreciation Chair for the Lake Highlands High School PTA. Her agency proudly sponsors Lake Highlands High School programs and teams, including the Highlandettes, baseball, soccer, football, theater, and Espree. After years of planning, Jennifer is thrilled to open her newly renovated office space in the heart of Lake Highlands, next to Jersey Mike’s, making it even easier to serve neighbors and strengthen community connections.

Over her 23 years as an agent, Jennifer has shared both joyful milestones and difficult moments with her clients. One especially meaningful experience occurred in January 2021, when longtime customers Matt and Amy Tuggles lost their home to a fire. Jennifer immediately went to the scene and worked closely with the family throughout the rebuilding process. Years later, their rebuilt home was featured on the Lake Highlands Women’s Home Tour, a powerful reflection of resilience and support.
