Lily’s Story: From Busy Streets to Beloved Family Member
Why did you first get Lily and how did you decide on her name?
We adopted her from Take Me Home Pet Rescue in 2014 after she was found running around a busy intersection. The rescurer named her Lilith, but it didn’t roll of my tongue well so shortened it to Lily.
What do you like best about Lily?
Lily has such a fun-loving personality, loves everyone, and always makes us laugh. She brings so much joy to us and all the neighbors.
Anything special about Lily?
She watches TV and waits with baited breath for an animal to come on and then jumps and barks at the TV. Also, the theme song and Ken Jennings' voice on Jeopardy totally freaks her out. Once she hears either one, she’ll jump off the chair or bed, give me a dirty look and slink off. Last week she hid under a piece of furniture!

When she’s in the car and it’s raining she tries to attack the windshield wipers.
