Hello there readers! My name is Sushi, and I am a female pug! If you’re wondering why my name is Sushi, I’ll tell you. My owner, Camille Rehm’s, favorite food is sushi, and it is her dad’s favorite food too. She also thinks that pugs look like chunky sushi rolls. My family, the Rehm’s, got me after they moved into their new house. They also got me a few years after their last pug, Sophie, passed away.

I love to swim, which pugs are typically not known for. Sometimes I annoy Camille, as all dogs do to their owners, but I am mostly just pure sweetness! I have two favorite toys, a crunchy avocado toy and a crunchy seal. I love the avocado, and I like to pretend I am a great white shark when I play with the seal. I love to catch it in my “jaws!”  

One story about me is that when I was about a year old, Camille wanted to teach me something special. She decided to teach me piano! It was difficult for me to learn but eventually I could touch the keys on Camille’s keyboard and make my very own song! Another fun story about is that one day, Camille’s mom was making a salad, and a piece of spinach fell from the bowl onto the ground. I have amazing hearing when it comes to food, so I came running towards the kitchen. I gobbled it up and shook the piece of spinach to try and kill it as if was not already dead. Now I am obsessed with spinach!

My family loves me very much, and I am kind of spoiled. I am not allowed to eat whatever I want, and I am not allowed on the bed. However, I am smothered in love and Camille loves to make videos of me playing the piano! I am a very lucky dog.
