Party Like It Was 1776!

Red, white, and blue filled Lakewood Boulevard once again as neighbors gathered to celebrate one of our community's most beloved traditions—the Lakewood 4th of July Parade.
From the early morning Fun Run to the parade, decorated bikes, wagons, strollers, creative costumes, and smiling faces, this year's celebration was a wonderful reminder of what makes Lakewood so special. Families lined the streets, neighbors reconnected, and children proudly showed off their patriotic creations as another generation experienced the magic of this cherished tradition.
This year's theme, "Party Like It's 1776," perfectly captured the spirit of the day as our community came together to celebrate America's 250th birthday and the neighborhood we all call home.
Congratulations to all of this year's parade participants and award winners! Your creativity, enthusiasm, and community spirit made this year's celebration one to remember.
Most importantly, thank you to everyone who came out to participate, cheer from the sidelines, volunteer, and support the parade. It is because of neighbors like you that this tradition continues to thrive year after year.
Here's to another unforgettable Fourth of July—and we can't wait to see everyone back on Lakewood Boulevard next year!
