Gathering Together: Local Businesses Connect at The Somm Hotel’s ‘The Shed’

In early fall Greet and Stroll clients gathered at The Somm Hotel for an evening of connections. Held at The Shed, the hotel’s cozy rooftop bar and lounge, local business owners enjoyed a relaxed happy hour with handcrafted cocktails and a spread of small plates, including beef sliders, artichoke and jalapeño bites, chicken skewers, and carrots drizzled with bourbon sauce.

The gathering gave our client family a chance to unwind, catch up with local publishers, meet new business contacts, and reconnect with familiar faces. The evening wrapped up with a lighthearted raffle drawing, sending two lucky guests home with Sonos speakers courtesy of the Hi-Tek Group and a complimentary overnight stay at The Somm.

A New Neighborhood Highlight in Woodinville

The menu reimagines farm-to-table fare with a wine country meets PNW comfort food lens, and the beautiful atmosphere is complemented by warm hospitality. Bin 47 offers breakfast and dinner daily.
  • The Bin 47 Lounge: A popular Woodinville hot spot, this expansive space delivers some of the best beverages (zero proof and otherwise) in town, accompanied by a small plates menu from Chef Maximillian Petty with everything from charcuterie to Smashburgers in a stunning environment centered on two up-lit olive trees that come directly out of the bar.
  • The Blending Room: As the signature experience at The SOMM, the Blending Room is an interactive space where overnight guests or locals alike can work with a sommelier to blend and bottle their own custom wine. This amenity is complimentary for hotel guests, and $89++/person for locals. The Blending Room is also a popular space for events, and the Blending Experience is a unique corporate team-building activity.
  • Vin de Spa: A full-service spa where wine meets wellness, featuring eight treatment rooms including two couples’ rooms, his-and-hers dry cedar saunas and steam rooms, and a beautiful relaxation room with a soothing contemporary Pacific Northwest ambiance.
The property also includes a fitness center, pet-friendly accommodations, and plenty of meeting and events space, including an expansive outdoor Plaza overlooking the next-door lavender fields and Chateau Ste. Michelle.
