Cranberry Rosemary Margarita

Crisp fall evenings call for a cocktail that feels both festive and comforting, and this one delivers in every sip. With rich reposado tequila, tart cranberry, and a fragrant touch of rosemary, it’s the perfect pour to welcome the holiday season.

Ingredients:

1.5 oz Gran Centenario Reposado Tequila
.5 oz orange liqueur, such as Cointreau
.75 oz cranberry juice
.5 oz lime juice
.5 oz Rosemary Simple Syrup*
Lime wheel & rosemary sprig garnish
Rosemary salt/sugar rim garnish**

*Rosemary Simple Syrup: Combine 1/2 cup granulated sugar, 1/2 cup water, and three rosemary sprigs in a small saucepan over low-medium heat for 8-10 minutes. Stir occasionally until rosemary has wilted and the syrup has texture and fragrance. Fine strain out the rosemary, and let cool in a sealed container in the fridge. Keeps fresh for one month.

**Rosemary Salt/Sugar Rim: Combine 2 teaspoons granulated sugar and 1 teaspoon coarse kosher salt with picked rosemary from one sprig in a bowl. Mix with your fingers for about 30 seconds to one minute until the rosemary releases its oils. Rub the rim of a glass with a lime wedge and dip the glass into the bowl to add the rim.

Method:

Combine all liquid ingredients in a cocktail shaker, and add ice. Shake until well chilled (about 10-15 seconds). Fine strain into a salted rocks glass, garnish, and enjoy!

Cheers!
