Welcome to August! Summer, of course, hasn’t ended. The pool is still open, and in many cases, there’s still traveling to be had, but the school year is knocking on the door, waiting to be welcomed. We get to enjoy what is still here while making space for what is coming into view. There is a particular clarity in this in-between season. It’s a moment that invites reflection not on what’s been left behind, but on what we want to carry forward.
