Roots, Growth and a Fresh Surprise!

Pioneer Feed

The owners and part of some of the staff say "hello" from the new Big Barn!

If you’ve lived in the area for a while, Pioneer Feed may feel like part of your community. For 30 years, owners Mike and Cathi Agard and their dedicated team have been the go-to experts for everything from pet and livestock needs to those famous spring chicks.
Now, after searching for the perfect spot, they are moving to a brand-new location nearby!
Why the Move?
In short: room to grow! yu;iugluyf, hmu"We’ve been looking for years to expand," Cathi says. The new property solves the two biggest hurdles they faced—rent and space. By moving to a spot they truly own, Pioneer Feed is planting roots that will keep them serving the community for another 30 years and beyond.
A Bigger, Better Experience
Walking into the new store, the first thing you’ll notice is the breathing room. The main store is significantly larger, and the barn space has tripled in size.
"This means our customers have more options and a much better product selection," Mike adds. "You’ll actually be able to see everything we have to offer without it being tucked away."
What’s New (and What’s Staying!)
While the "big acreage" farms in the area might be changing, Pioneer Feed is pivoting to meet the needs of today’s homeowners.
  • The Garden Center: Potting soil, hand tools, plants, hoses, and rakes.
  • Expanded Pet Supplies: Toys, medicines, and grooming supplies.
  • Propane Sales: A convenient new addition to your regular stop.
  • The Classics: The chicks aren't going anywhere! If anything, the poultry section is expanding.
Small-Town Service, Big-Time Knowledge
Despite the bigger footprint, the "small shop" heart remains. They are driven by a deep loyalty to their staff and the customers who have been with them since Day One.
"Our customers are like family and friends," she says. "We know them by name, and we want to do the best for them."
That means you can still expect a knowledgeable staff ready to answer your toughest questions. And, of course, they’ll still carry your bags out to the car for you.
Ready to see the new look? Stop by the new location today to explore the expanded aisles, grab your garden essentials, and say hi to Cathi and the crew. They’ve been listening to what you want—and they can’t wait to show you the results!
