Ripon First Responders Appreciation Day

Come Join us to honor our Hometown Heroes ...

WHO: Family, Friends, CoWorkers, Community, YOU!
WHEN: Saturday, April 4th
START: Ripon Police Department  259 N. Wilma @ 8:30 a.m.
END: Ripon Fire Department  142 S. Stockton Ave

Since 2017, the Ripon community has come together on the first Saturday in April for a meaningful First Responders Appreciation Walk down Main Street. Often described as a “mini parade with a purpose,” the short, symbolic walk begins at the Police Department and ends at the Fire Department, bringing together nearly 200 residents in a visible show of gratitude for the local first responders who serve and protect Ripon every day. This annual tradition is a simple yet powerful reminder that our community proudly stands behind its hometown heroes.

The entire community is invited to join in for a walk from the Ripon Police Department to the Ripon Fire Department. Once at the fire department, there will be a short presentation, refreshments, and snacks. Emergency vehicles will be on display. This is an excellent opportunity to meet and thank our local heroes for their service.

************************************stand out quote***********************************************

"It is a true honor to walk each year to show community support for Ripon’s First Responders.  We are blessed to live in a community where responding to every call is a priority.  The care and compassion our first responders show us is unmatched, and I am grateful."
