Double the Doodles, Double the Love
Sara and Rue prove that life’s better with a little fluff, friendship, and plenty of snacks.
Meet Sara and Rue — two lovable golden doodles who fill their home with joy, laughter, and plenty of tail wags. Sara, the 12-year-old “big sister,” is calm, gentle, and full of wisdom, while three-year-old Rue is the playful ball of energy who keeps everyone on their toes.
Sara’s story began when another family could no longer care for her at just 10 months old. She quickly found her forever home — and her perfect match — with a family of three boys. Her name, Sara, was inspired by her owner’s long-held wish for a little girl in a house full of boys. Years later, after COVID ended the family’s work-from-home days, they decided Sara might get lonely, so Rue joined the pack — and the fun doubled instantly.
Together, these doodles make quite the pair. They’re full of charm and personality, especially when treats are involved. They know how to sit, shake hands, give high fives, and roll over — all for a tasty reward. When guests visit, they’re happy to shower them with love for a few minutes before heading off to relax.
Their personalities couldn’t be more different: Sara is serene and sweet, while Rue is still the life of the party, always trying to coax her sister into playtime. When Sara’s ready for a break, she simply slips away under the bed for some well-earned peace and quiet.
Spoiled? Absolutely — but in the best way. Between treats, attention, and unconditional love, Sara and Rue are living their best doggie lives!
