Memorial High School running back Conrad Bennett has been chasing the thrill of football for nearly a decade. What keeps him coming back year after year? “I enjoy being part of a team and competing together as one for a common goal,” he says. “The fast pace and intensity of the sport...there’s nothing like it.”

Conrad credits new head coach Brooks Haack with bringing renewed energy to the Memorial Mustangs program. “He’s brought excitement and passion. I feel blessed to be here for it,” he adds.

Recently named Offensive Player of the Week for Memorial, Conrad’s biggest advice for younger athletes is simple: “Don’t compare yourself to others. Work hard, play with class, and be the best version of yourself.”
