Meet the Allen Pack: Leo, Milo & Uno
Uno
The Allen Family’s home is filled with happy chaos thanks to three lovable pups: Leo (4), Milo (3), and Uno (2). Each with a distinct personality and a whole lot of charm, this trio has become a joyful part of everyday life.
Each dog came from a different state: Leo from South Carolina, Milo from Ohio, and Uno from Tennessee. Uno’s arrival is now a favorite family memory. “Uno was a complete surprise! I saw his puppy photo online, couldn’t resist, and flew him to Houston without telling anyone,” Lauren laughed. “Because of that, my husband got to name him. He’s Uno the Fourth, a family dog name, and we love the joke: when people ask his name, we say, ‘You know!’ (Uno).”
The pups love being part of whatever the Allen Family is doing, playing in the backyard, walking the neighborhood, and greeting every dog they meet. They’re especially fond of the Orr family’s dogs, who share their Beaglier breed and often stop by for impromptu playdates.
While they may not do fancy tricks, they do have a talent for adventure. On a trip to Crested Butte, the trio wandered too far and ended up getting a police escort back to town, complete with guilty faces when the family picked them up.
At home, the dogs consider themselves expert backyard “possum patrol,” much to the amusement (and occasional apology) of neighbors. Once, their mission turned real when they came across a baby possum...cue barking chorus and one dramatic possum “playing dead.”

Having three dogs at once has been a heart-filling experience for the Allens. “They truly love each other and want to be together all the time,” the family shared. “They each make you feel like you’re the most important person in the world to them. Dogs are just the best, and we truly don’t deserve them.”
