Welcome! We love serving this community.
Greet is the warm “hello” waiting in your mailbox. Nothing brings us more joy than sharing stories from local residents, exclusively for readers (and neighbors) like you.
We are grateful to serve this amazing community.
Every month, we share never-before-published stories about local residents, businesses, and more.
See below for a few of our recent favorites.
Picnic with a Purpose benefitting SEARCH Homeless
We’re excited to share our first Making a Difference article, highlighting the recent Picnic with a Purpose event from November, chaired by Heather Shepherd! We had the chance to connect with Heather to learn more about this wonderful organization and the incredible work it does in our community.

Meet Your Publisher
Emily Gibbons
Greet West University Place is the new neighborhood magazine created exclusively for West U, one of Houston’s most family-centered communities. Each month, we highlight the people, places, and events that make West U vibrant, from family and pet spotlights to local schools and neighborhood happenings.
We connect residents with trusted local businesses that care about the community as much as you do. Our sponsors aren’t just advertisers; they’re neighbors growing alongside West U families.
I’m Emily Gibbons, publisher of Greet West University, and together with my husband Stephen, we publish three other community magazines in Houston. After almost nine years of connecting communities, we’re excited to bring that same energy to West U.
