Meet Cora Roxette
The Giga family, Sam, Carin, Riley, Reese, and Madeleine, share their home with Cora, a 1.5-year-old female Doberman Pinscher. They adopted Cora from Houston Area Doberman Rescue a few months after losing their previous 14-year-old Doberman. She was 11 weeks old at adoption, and her name reflects both simplicity and a nod to her foster family’s choice, Roxette, as her middle name.
Cora is energetic, playful, and affectionate, enjoying time with both people and other dogs. She loves treats like No-Hide chews, Buddy Budder peanut butter, and Saint Rocco’s jerky, and she enjoys visits to the family’s Three Dog Bakery locations. Her favorite activities include playing fetch, tug-of-war, swimming, soccer, and jogging, and she is known as the backyard’s top soccer defender. Cora naps curled up in her bed or stretched in the sun and regularly attends “camp” at Rover Oaks and Dogtopia. Her favorite toys are a bouncy ball and squeaky tennis balls.
