April's Art Haus
April is a Texas-based entrepreneur, creative guide, and the owner of April’s Art Haus in Boerne. With a professional background in real estate sales and marketing, she has built a career centered around connection, storytelling, and helping others bring their vision to life—whether that’s finding the perfect home or creating a meaningful piece of art.
Raised in Durango, Colorado, April grew up in an artistic family where both of her parents were not only deeply drawn to the arts but also successful artists and business owners themselves. That environment instilled in her an appreciation for both creative expression and entrepreneurship, shaping the foundation for her own path.
After completing her college education in eastern New Mexico, April relocated to Texas, where she continues to blend her business acumen with her lifelong love of the arts. Through April’s Art Haus, she has created a welcoming space that encourages others—especially those who may not consider themselves “artistic”—to explore creativity in a relaxed, judgment-free environment.
Outside of her professional work, April enjoys spending time outdoors with her two small dogs, often hiking and finding inspiration in nature. She is also an avid lover of the arts in all forms and a self-proclaimed foodie.
April founded April’s Art Haus in 2025 as a way to fully step into her passion for sharing the arts with others. What began as a personal creative practice evolved into an opportunity to help others reconnect with themselves through artistic expression.
Throughout her own journey, April found herself returning to the studio as a form of meditation and intentional pause. Creating became more than just making art; it became a way to quiet the noise, process emotions, and regain a sense of clarity and presence. In that space, she discovered not only her love for working across different mediums, but also a deep desire to share that experience with others.
April’s Art Haus was built on the belief that creativity is not reserved for the naturally “artistic,” but is something everyone can access when given the space and permission to explore. Her mission is to provide a welcoming, judgment-free environment where individuals can step away from the demands of daily life, rediscover play, and create freely.
April’s Art Haus offers customized, hands-on creative experiences designed to meet individuals exactly where they are—whether they are seasoned artists or exploring creativity for the first time. The studio specializes in intimate, guided art sessions where clients can experiment with a variety of mediums, including resin, acrylic, mixed media, textured finishes, and smash glass art.
Each session is highly personalized, allowing clients to create pieces that reflect their own style and vision. From functional art such as charcuterie boards, trays, and coasters to statement artwork for the home or office, the possibilities are intentionally open-ended to encourage freedom and exploration.
In addition to private and small-group sessions, April’s Art Haus offers curated experiences for special occasions, including girls’ nights, celebrations, and creative gatherings. The studio also partners with local businesses and organizations to host unique team experiences that foster connection, collaboration, and a renewed sense of creativity in the workplace. Clients can also commission custom pieces or purchase gift certificates, making it easy to share the experience with others.
What sets April’s Art Haus apart is the intimate, boutique nature of the experience. Rather than a large, fast-paced class environment, the studio is designed to feel personal, calming, and deeply supportive—more like stepping into a creative retreat than attending a typical art session.
At its core, the experience is both therapeutic and encouraging. Clients are guided through the creative process in a way that feels approachable and freeing, without criticism or judgment, allowing them to relax, explore, and create in a way that often feels unfamiliar in their day-to-day lives.
April’s approach focuses on patience and genuine connection. She meets each client where they are, offering thoughtful guidance while still allowing space for personal expression. The focus is never on perfection, but on the experience itself—helping clients build confidence, reconnect with their creativity, and leave with something they’re truly proud of. It’s this combination of personalized attention, emotional safety, and creative freedom that makes April’s Art Haus not just a place to make art, but a place to rediscover a part of yourself.
The studio also partners with organizations and groups to offer experiences that encourage creativity, connection, and emotional well-being. Whether it’s hosting a team experience, participating in local events, or creating space for individuals to slow down and reconnect, each interaction is centered around building relationships and supporting the local community.
Looking ahead, April’s vision for April’s Art Haus is to continue growing by offering therapeutic art experiences that truly enhance people’s everyday lives. She is passionate about creating a space where individuals not only feel inspired in the moment, but leave with a lasting sense of peace, confidence, and connection. As the studio continues to grow, April is excited to expand collaborations, host more community-centered events, and introduce new creative offerings that invite even more people to explore their creativity in a meaningful way.
